Rosco is seen here talking to year 12 engineering students from Willetton High School in Perth, who attended a father and son day at the Aussie Invader workshop. This was arranged by their engineering teacher Brett Boughton with the idea to kick off their terms project, which will see several teams of students all working on design aspects of the car and trying to come up with innovative solutions to problems that the building of Aussie Invader 5R has thrown up.
Not often students are given a chance to work on and contribute to a truly ground-breaking project like this. Hopefully it will inspire them for years to come.
The day was a great success and was attended by about 15 students with their parents and a Channel 10 TV crew was onsite to record the day. It was also great to have a visit from Liberal MP, Peter Abetz who came along with his wife Jenny.

Thanks to all who made it such a great and successful day.
