Rocket Engine Test Firing by Rocket Lab NZ

A short clip of the testing carried out by Rocket Lab Ltd of New Zealand, who are developing the rocket engine for Aussie Invader 5R. The rocket shown is considerably less powerful than the rocket engine we will be using. Ours will be a liquid oxygen motor with about 62,000 lb/f (equivalent to about 200,000hp on current speeds and acceleration data).
