The Fastest Aussie on Earth - Rosco and the Aussie Invader Cars
Rosco and Aussie Invader 5R received great exposure on ABC's Catalyst today (3rd June 2010). The story went into Rosco's Drag Racing days, past LSR achievements and Donald Campbell, his inspiration for a 45 year quest to be the fastest man on the planet.

Rosco McGlashan on ABC's "Can We Help", broadcast on 29th May 2009. This interview was about Donald Campbell's dual World Land and Water Speed records, set in Australia in 1964.

Rosco and the team with Aussie Invader II, attempting to claim the Australian Land Speed Record and some of the set backs that are a common in attempts like this.

Introduced by the legendary and late Peter Brock. It shows Aussie Invader II breaking the Australian Land Speed Record and shows Aussie Invader III setting a one way pass of 1026 km/h (643 mph) that is the fastest anyone has ever driven on salt! At the time it was 10 mph faster than Richard Noble's LSR in Thrust II, but because it was only a one way run it was not an official record.

Building a car like Aussie Invader 5R, needs planning, determination, a skilled team and a lot of money. The planning has taken 10 years, we have the determination and the right expertise, all we need is the funds to finish the job.
