Aussie Invader 5R’s engine is a pressure fed liquid bi-propellant rocket producing 62,000 lbs of thrust (equivalent to around 200,000 hp). It will burn about 2,800 kg (2.8 tonnes) of propellant (liquid oxygen and bio kerosene) in around 20 seconds. The car uses a single throttleable LOX (liquid oxygen / bio-kerosene) rocket motor.
